@oOohyaOo iBooks is a great app for the iPad. The only real downturn for it is that in broad sunlight the text is hard to read.

I have an iPod touch but am looking into an ipad… I would like to have it because of the new software and because of the bigger screen for the Internet and stuff… I love ebooks but is iBooks as good as every one thinks it is? Can you help me?
I don’t think I am going to get an iPad anymore because my iPhone is pretty much the same as the iPad, and plus, I think I will jailbreak my iPhone to get more features.
@MisterBaseball200 Well, if that person really feels akward, he could always buy a iPad case similar to a diary case. That way, it’ll look nicer and more ‘business-like’. That’s what I’m gonna do.
I actually had the opportunity to use it… And honestly it is fun to use, but I don’t see how it could replace a laptop or desktop.. Better then a netbook, but again its priced really high.. And of course your limited to using applications & games only available for mobile devices.. You know if it was priced closer the netbook range, then it would be totally worth getting..
@Giano96 Well it doesn’t really have a “Real” OS. Also there is no flash support, and since it isn’t running Snow Leopard, you can’t run applications you would on Windows or Mac OS.. For the price Its not worth it, you could get a higher end laptop for cheaper.. If it was priced somewhere near the netbook range it would be worth getting..

It has a single user (4 digit) upon startup.. People have hinted at multiple user support, but I don’t think it’s such a great idea. Like I said to my nephew “you have use of everything else) that’s mipad, it’s not a toy if you want one save or whatever but if you want to play games on it sit right here where I can watch.
